The Guardian Angel of Africa - She is holding Earth in her hand, showing you the continent she guards. She is a "mother in waiting" because the scientists and archaeologists tell us that the earliest traces of humankind and of civilization are found in Africa. Her robe is pure crimson red, the color reserved for kings. Her halo is yellow, transmuting through orange to green. Yellow is the color of the sun, the bringer of life on this planet which sustains us daily. The orange is the color of harvest, for Africa is a continent rich in many products and in cultural heritage. The green resembles the color of new growth in springtime, the quality of eternal youthfulness.
